Serving Rules
- Please make sure you've configured your client to disable all CTCP messages and random play ads. We're trying to reduce the number of notices we're getting like...
"- Server flood protection activated for #Mp3Addicts" - As a Voiced Nick, the Bots will not kick you if you paste more than 4 songs within a 30 second period. However, be warned that an Operator may take action against you for doing so. Even though you're serving, you are still expected to follow the rules everyone else must follow.
- Advertising in #Mp3Addicts is not permitted. Placing an advertisement for a channel or website in your ad, or list, is not permitted. Please make sure to follow this rule. Users found to be breaking this rule may find themselves banned from #Mp3Addicts for an extended period of time.
- Make sure to configure your running server-ad to be 600 seconds or 10 minutes apart.
- This channel is Leech Only. "Servers Only" mode is not permitted. Any server found to be operating in "Servers Only" is subject to immediate removal from the channel. Ratio's are not permitted. Servers Priority and Normal are both permitted, but Servers Only is not acceptable.
- No On-Join Messages, Inviting, or Advertising is permitted.
- Clones are not permitted in #Mp3Addicts. The only exception to this rule is if one of the clones is serving. Thank you for your cooperation.
- There is a 50 Mp3 Files limit to be considered a Server for #Mp3Addicts. If you plan on sharing less than 50 files, we ask that you not serve in our channel. It isn't that we don't want you to share, we just want everything to be fair for our other servers.
