Client Rules

1. #Mp3Addicts is a Leech-Only Channel. We do not allow Ratios. If you are serving, which we do not require, but do encourage, you are NOT allowed to enable Servers Only mode. You are, however, permitted to enable the Servers Priority mode if you want. If you are interested in serving, please review the Servers Rules by typing !Serving in #Mp3Addicts.
2. Do not hammer the Servers. We have a simple rule. No more than 4 requests per 30 second period. This means you can request up to four songs, lists, etc., per 30-second interval. If you exceed this limit, you will be removed.
3. No repeating, channel flooding, or inappropriate messages. This is a bannable offense. We enforce this policy strictly.
4. Ban Evasion is unacceptable. Anyone found to be evading a ban will have their temporary ban extended to a permanent ban from all of the #Mp3Addicts Family of Channels.
5. No On-Join Messages
6. No Inviting to other channels.
7. No Spamming or Advertising in any way, be it through the channel, through a private message, or through your list (if you're serving).
8. No Abusing the Users, Servers, or Channel Operators. Abuse of any of the users, servers, or staff will result in the immediate removal of the abusive user. #Mp3Addicts prides itself on being the Friendliest Mp3 Channel. Abusive users bring that down.
9. Do not ask for Operator Status. We are not looking for Ops. If we were, you asking just moved you to the bottom of the list. When we look, we look for those who help without being asked, who do their part and then some and don't ask for anything in return. If you want to be an Operator in #Mp3Addicts, show us you care about the channel. Do that, and you MAY get asked to be an Op.
10. Pornographic material is not permitted in #Mp3Addicts. Although we do not tell our servers they can not list the material on their server, we highly discourage our users from downloading it. If you are caught downloading such material, an op MAY, at their discretion, remove you from the channel.
11. Do not repeatedly request lists, stats, and -que checks. Be patient.
12. If you receive an invite to another channel or an On-Join message, please join #Mp3Addicts-Chat and notify an Operator immediately. It doesn't matter if this user is serving music in #Mp3Addicts or not, this is against our rules, and it must be stopped.
13. Keep #Mp3Addicts Friendly. Again, we pride ourself in our Friendliest Mp3 Channel logo, and we want everyone to have a good time.
